today i went to the polyclinic to get the referral letter to Alexandra hospital.
EARLY in the morning 8 i reached there le. but guess what, i am even queuing at out of the queue line. WOW, really alot of people eh. With the demands for medical attention being so high, why can't more polyclinics be built?Scared ppl may take advantage of the low costs for medicine? But if ppl really needs it, you have to provide them with it right? Especially with this aging population thing coming up. The polyclinic is REALLy going on the greying trend, from what i see more and more ppl that are going to polyclinics are LAO REN JIA..i mean its logical that they are more prone to illness, so we should do something for them right.. Its very saddening to see coughing uncles and aunties waiting in line the queue u know..

okay, after that we went queensway. SHINA aka Victoria (=P) needs a bball shoe. walk and walk and walk finally saw a shoe that she likes!=D and ya she bought it loh... evil shina tempt me to buy another shoe..haha.joking, cos it might be cheaper if we buy more. =]
okok then i went home with owyang and shina went church!
after that got tuition..AND I WAS LATE! =X
idiot larh was looking for foolscap paper.. haha. then end up i brought some water soaked papers that look like some salted vege.hahha. well, at least i can write on them.
at night, i SERIOUSLY wanted to study larh.. but then, haha i was tempted by the TV programs..
first it was the jacky wu show.. STUPID larh but high entertainment value eh..haha.
then it was this war show called " Black hawk down"
i was touched by the show. Its actually a show that depicts the scene during a war between the Somalians (is that how i spelt it?) and the US army trying to regain democracy within the country if i am not wrong filled with militias? i think its based on a real war scene.
well, what touched me was the sense of unity and the love each soldier have for another..and their fav phrase" no one is to be left behind".
(maybe this is shown as a propaganda film to the US citizens who may not support US involvement) but then if what they are acting is true... they did it to liberate the ppl there, to help them.. i feel that they shld be applauded.
in the show, the militias come in all shapes and sizes. Some kids (maybe 10?) are carrying MACHINE GUNS! even housewives..
this led me into thinking..
while the youth in Singapore or most other countries are thinking of what they should be eating in their next meal... where are they going later... maybe..somewhere, someone in this planet, pple are thinking whether they may even have their next meal... whether the next move they make may cause them to be killed.
its a such a big contrast.mayb schools should encourage their students to watch more of such films or even use it as a material for CME lesson? maybe too violent...but its reality...
i dunnoe how to phrase the stuffs i wanna write about so i shall end here larh.. i know what to say le then continue bah.=D
